Most people infected will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without special treatment. However, some will require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions are more likely to develop serious illness. Vaccine and infusion therapy is available for those with special health conditions that make them poorly responsive to vaccine.
