Dr. Passalacqua is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine. She has been in practice more than 20 years. Dr. Passalacqua is affiliated with St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport Connecticut and is Chief of Infectious Diseases at the 473 bed community hospital. She is a member of Community Medical Group and serves patients in the Yale New Haven Health EPIC system.
Dr. Passalacqua received her undergraduate degree from SUNY at Binghamton, Binghampton, New York.
Thereafter she went on to receive her medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York in 1992.
After graduation she completed her internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry Robert Wood Johnson, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
She then completed her fellowship training in Infectious Diseases with the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. During her fellowship Dr. Passalacqua trained at the University of Maryland Institiute for Human Virology, the Cowley Shock Trauma Unit, the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland.
Dr. Passalacqua is an avid traveller and can provide pre-travel consultation and vaccination as well as care for post travel and tropical diseases.
